You control all key header parameters from the comfort of the cab using intuitive and ergonomic multi function handles. Controls include header height, reel position together with Varifeed™ extend and retract, draper fore/aft angle adjust and transport system operation.
Designed with draper headers in mind, award-winning SynchroKnife™ technology features a single, centrally mounted gearbox with double knife drive to ensure perfect lateral weight distribution for more uniform stubble height, as well as significantly reducing knife stress and vibration for increased reliability, reduced costly downtime and an improved operator experience. Located under the header floor, the edge of the uncut crop is now fully protected from potential snagging caused by bulky side-mounted knife drive gearboxes.
Optional integrated transport wheels can be specified on 30-, 35-, 40- and 45-ft. headers. They fold down hydraulically and are activated from the comfort of the cab. Once in place, you simply and easily attach the hitch to the left hand end of the draper header so that you can tow your header behind your combine. This significantly enhances flexibility and can simplify complex transport logistics.
Knife speed ranges from 0 to 630 rpm to ensure that you have the correct cutting speed for all crops. This is adjusted via a valve on the rear of the header.
Unique and exclusive to the New Holland 800 Series SuperFlex™ and Rigid Draper headers is the optional integrated low speed transport system. It utilizes hydraulically foldable wheels that allows the operator to tow the header from field to field with the combine. This is yet another innovation that New Holland is proud to offer to its valuable customers. The fold down wheels are controlled from the cab and the hitch is attached by hand after the operator disconnects the header from the combine.
The 840CD rigid draper head delivers outstanding performance in cereals, grains and specialty crops such as rice, so you can harvest every bit of your valuable crop. These rugged headers are available in cutting widths of 30, 35, 40and 45 feet.
The 880CF SuperFlex™ cutterbar draper head provides closer cutting and better flotation so you can harvest every bit of your valuable crop. These rugged combine heads are available in cutting widths of 30, 35, 40 and 45 feet.
